Data Deletion Instructions for Dermis Meta Connect

Dermis is a marketing agency tool that connects to your Meta (Facebook) advertising account on your behalf. When you connect your Meta account, we store a limited set of data needed to run and report on your ad campaigns. This page explains what we store and how to remove it.

What we store

Your Meta User ID, name, and email (used to identify your connection)

An encrypted Meta access token (used to call Meta's Marketing API on your behalf — required by Meta for all API access)

A list of the ad accounts you've granted access to

Cached metadata about those ad accounts (account name, currency, time zone)

We do not store your Meta password, the contents of your private messages, or any data unrelated to advertising.

How to delete your data

You have two options:

Revoke access from Facebook directly — fastest, no email needed.

Visit https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools

Find "Dermis" in the list of connected business integrations

Click "Remove"

Your access token is invalidated immediately. Within 7 days, we automatically purge the corresponding record from our database.

Email us to delete everything immediately

Send a request from the email address associated with your Meta account to thomas@dermis.app with the subject "Data deletion request"

We will delete all data associated with your account within 7 business days and reply to confirm.
